A 3-RBI performance from shortstop Ezequiel Torka led the Asheville Tourists to a win over the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 9-4. The winning pitcher was Eric Fox. His record now stands at 3-3. The right-hander went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 4 hits for the Tourists. Ryan Brooks got the save, his 3rd in 4 chances.

Second Baseman Danny Ward made an impact for Asheville, when he swatted a 2-run double off Eddie Green in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Ward was 1 for 4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

The first-place Tourists hiked their record to 62-40.
