Legends Tag RiverDogs with 5-3 Loss

The Lexington Legends and Charleston RiverDogs completed their game despite the inclement weather.
The Lexington Legends dealt the Charleston RiverDogs a 5-3 loss at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. Luis Aguilar was the star on offense. He went 3-4 with 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs. Brent Beaver picked up the save for Lexington, his 6th of the year.
Had Aguilar not come through in the top of the seventh, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Aguilar hit a run-scoring single. The Legends took the lead, 4-3, and never looked back.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Lexington manager Rich Freedland. "It's usually not just one thing."
The Legends lead the Southern Division by a game.
