Tourists Get Past Kannapolis, 4-3
|
The Asheville Tourists picked up a win at CMC-NorthEast Stadium, dropping the Kannapolis Intimidators, 4-3. Kenny Kennedy was the difference-maker. The save went to Dylan Moffat, his 2nd this season. The first-place Tourists have a record of 64-41.
Asheville needed the clutch hitting of Aaron Cruse to seal the deal. The designated hitter swatted a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Tourists on top, 4-3. For the game, Cruse had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
