Grasshoppers Make It 6 in a Row with 11-2 Win
The Greensboro Grasshoppers had no problem beating the Lexington Legends, 11-2, at NewBridge Bank Park. Josh Robinson led the way. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3 for Greensboro. Cody Ross, credited with the win, is now 10-7. He allowed 2 runs on 9 hits in 9 innings. The Grasshoppers saw their record improve to 40-65.

Robinson contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Greensboro in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 2-0, Robinson took a slider from Shizuo Saito and stroked the home run to right. His 16th home run of the season allowed the Grasshoppers to leap in front, 3-2.

"When you don't put the pitches where they're supposed to be, they hit you hard," said Lexington skipper Sean Young.
