The Greensboro Grasshoppers rode a solid performance from 22-year-old starting pitcher Ryan Corsetti to a win, beating the Hagerstown Suns, 6-2, at NewBridge Bank Park. Corsetti, the winner, moves to 1-9. He threw 5 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 1 and giving up 3 walks. Javier Vega, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.

Matt Wachter had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the second for Greensboro. With the bases loaded and the Grasshoppers leading 2-1, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"I liked our effort," said Grasshoppers manager Josh Lex.

The last-place Grasshoppers go to 28-77.
