The Columbia Fireflies picked up a win at Spirit Communications Park, knocking off the Greenville Drive, 3-0. Starting pitcher Julio Rolon played a key role in the triumph. Rolon picked up the win for Columbia, going 7.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 3-1. Columbia is now 66-39, Greenville 51-54.

Victor Vargas had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for Columbia. He came through with a run-scoring triple to put Columbia in front, 2-0.
