BlueClaws Get Hard-Earned Win
At McCormick Field, the Asheville Tourists and Lakewood BlueClaws were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Getting offensive support from Walter Lancaster, the Lakewood BlueClaws topped the Asheville Tourists, 5-4. Lancaster went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the BlueClaws. The BlueClaws now have a mark of 46-60.

Lancaster had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch fastball from Ernesto Arvallo, he banged a solo home run to right-center, giving the BlueClaws a 5-4 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Lancaster.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Asheville manager Jarrod Dryman.
