The Greenville Drive picked up a win at Fluor Field at the West End, topping the West Virginia Power, 4-3. On the mound for Greenville was left-hander Danny Gonzalez. He played a principal role in the triumph. In 7 innings, Gonzalez surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 4. He allowed 3 runs. The Drive, at 61-46, sit in third place in the Southern Division.

Jesus Molina had a big 2-run double for the Drive in the bottom of the second inning. With Greenville leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Art LaBrie and swatted a double to center. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Drive ahead, 4-1.

"Time to decompress after a tough win," said Molina.
