Marquez Now 9-2 Following 3-0 Win

In a low-scoring contest between the Delmarva Shorebirds and the Asheville Tourists, Juan Marquez was the X factor. The Delmarva right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. Jaime Lipscomb notched his 10th save of the season. With the win over Asheville, the Shorebirds improved to 69-38.
Marquez scattered 3 hits over 7.2 innings for the Shorebirds. With the win, Marquez moves to 9-2 on the year with 105 strikeouts.
"Juan made the big pitches when he needed to," said Delmarva manager Tom Phillips.
