Legends Tear Continues with 6-1 Triumph
Alvin Garcia never let Augusta get something going. The Lexington right-hander commanded his cutter in pitching the Legends to a 6-1 win. Garcia yielded 1 run over 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 10-3. Mike Garner locked down his 20th save.

It could have been a different outcome for Lexington, had it not been for Ron Meyer, the 25-year old center fielder . Meyer contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Lexington up, 4-1.

"The wins are coming in bunches right now," said Garcia. "We'll enjoy it while it lasts."
