The Lexington Legends could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Steve Barney into a win. Instead, the Augusta GreenJackets prevailed, 3-2. Barney threw 7.0 innings of 6-hit ball. The second-place GreenJackets now sit at 64-48.

Ryan Over was the walk-off hero for Augusta. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the GreenJackets right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This win gets us that much closer to where we want to be," Over said in postgame remarks.
