Iglesias Shines in 8-1 Kannapolis Win
John Iglesias was a major factor in the 8-1 Kannapolis win over Asheville. The Intimidators center fielder was 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Jeff Lehman got the win, improving to 4-1. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 5 hits and 1 run, while striking out 4 and walking 0. The first-place Intimidators now have a win-loss record of 89-24.

Kannapolis grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Iglesias, who is tied for 3rd in the SAL in bases on balls with 48, hit a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season put the Intimidators out in front, 3-1.
