Shorebirds Use Late Score to Top Power, 5-4
The Delmarva Shorebirds topped the West Virginia Power, 5-4, in South Atlantic League action at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Delmarva pitcher and Moore, Oklahoma, native Steve Oliver. Danny Spruill earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 9-2. The save went to Jeremiah Seawright, his 6th this season.

Jonathan Miller helped out the Delmarva cause in the bottom of the eighth inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the catcher drew 1 walk.

"We found a way to get it done," Miller said.

Delmarva occupies 4th place in the Northern Division at 62-56.
