Braves Foil Power, 3-1
|
The Rome Braves got a magnificent performance from pitcher Jordan Roman, who stifled the West Virginia offense en route to a 3-1 Braves win at Appalachian Power Park. With the win, the Braves hiked their record to 72-48.
Eric Fox, the 23-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Fox contributed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Rome up, 3-1.
"It feels good to get this one," Fox told the Rome Times.
