A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Greensboro Grasshoppers and Charleston RiverDogs.

The Greensboro Grasshoppers wanted a good start from Luis Orozco -- and he delivered one. The result was a 5-2 Greensboro win over the Charleston RiverDogs at NewBridge Bank Park. In 7 innings, Orozco surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 0. He allowed 2 runs. John LaBella nailed down his 3rd save.

Greensboro right fielder Juan Valenciana contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a changeup to left field for a 2-run single. It was his 78th hit of the season and put the Grasshoppers ahead, 4-0.

Said Greensboro manager Josh Lex: "At the end of the day, these guys have to perform between the lines, and I think they did."

With the win, the Grasshoppers are 39-82.
