Navarro Spins Gem for Kannapolis
|
Luis Navarro, who is tied for 8th in the SAL in innings pitched with 151.2, was in top form in a tight contest between Kannapolis and Greenville. The Intimidators right-hander helped his team beat the Drive, 3-1. The first-place Intimidators go to 92-34.
Navarro kept the Drive under his thumb. He scattered 1 hit over 7 innings, while striking out 8. The right-hander upped his season record to 13-4.
"From pitch one to the last pitch, Luis was aggressive," said Kannapolis manager Brian Turek.
