2-0 Loss to Intimidators Extends Greenville Losing Streak
Kannapolis turned a good effort from starter Ron Courtois into a win over the Greenville Drive at CMC-NorthEast Stadium. The Intimidators won the game, 2-0. Kannapolis now owns a record of 85-41.

Brian Whitfield took Greenville hurler Josh Moorehead deep in the bottom of the fourth. His 2-run home run put the Intimidators on top, 2-0. In all, Whitfield had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.

"We've been playing some good baseball," Whitfield told the Kannapolis Gazette. "We're aggressive and focused on what we're going to do on the field and getting it done."
