Spirit Communications Park was the site for South Atlantic League action featuring the Greenville Drive and Columbia Fireflies.

Columbia picked up a win at Spirit Communications Park, bumping off the Greenville Drive, 4-0. Pitcher Matt Burgos was a major reason the Fireflies emerged victorious. The Fireflies, at 81-46, have now won 5 straight.

Burgos, who dominated for Columbia, earned the victory to move to 8-6. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 11. Greenville batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Burgos.
