Intimidators Coast to 11-1 Victory
Kannapolis starter Ryan Bridges kept the Lakewood offense in check, while his team cruised to a win, 11-1. Bridges picked up the win for Kannapolis, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 12-3. The misery never ends for the BlueClaws, who've lost 10 in a row.

Kannapolis used a clutch at-bat from Pat Yaeger to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the first inning to put the Intimidators ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"They beat us, they beat us soundly," said losing manager Steve Reinke.
