Fuentes Leads Kannapolis to 7-0 Win
Lexington had no answer for 22-year old right-handed pitcher Alexis Fuentes. The Kannapolis Intimidators starter stymied Legends hitters, helping the Intimidators cruise to victory, 7-0. Tony Ponce De Leon picked up the save for Kannapolis, his 6th of the year. The third-place Intimidators improved to 78-51.

Fuentes, who dominated for Kannapolis, earned the victory to move to 8-6. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 6. Lexington batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"This team's hitting on all cylinders," said Intimidators manager Brian Turek.
