Legends Lose Versus Asheville, 2-1
|
McCormick Field was the site of a tense game between the Lexington Legends and Asheville Tourists.
A.J. O'Farrell was locked and loaded, helping the Asheville Tourists beat the Lexington Legends, 2-1. The Tourists are now 72-57, while the Legends fall to 52-77.
Early in the game, center fielder Hans Cabedo had a 2-run home run for Asheville. It was his 22nd home run of the season and put the Tourists on top, 2-0.
"When I throw strikes I'm good, if I don't I'm not very good," said O'Farrell. "So I just have to throw strikes."
