Dominant Performance by Franz in Rome Win
|
Devin Franz pitched a gem to lead Rome to victory over the Augusta GreenJackets, 3-0. The save went to Dave Matlock, his 3rd this season. With the win, Rome upped its record to 70-60.
Rome starter Devin Franz was a master of his craft. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings.
"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Franz. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
