BlueClaws Bats Go Cold Against Intimidators
The Kannapolis Intimidators downed the Lakewood BlueClaws, 4-0, at First Energy Park. Kannapolis pitcher Joe Drake had a scintillating performance. Shawn Trace was credited with the save, his 2nd in 3 tries. The BlueClaws have now dropped 12 straight.

Lakewood could barely put a dent in Drake. The left-hander tossed 95 pitches over 7.2 innings for the Intimidators, allowing only 4 hits.

"Bad luck's the only luck we've had," said Lakewood manager Steve Reinke.
