Legends Deal Braves 4-3 Loss
The Lexington Legends did just enough to secure a victory over the Rome Braves, 4-3, at Whitaker Bank Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Dave Rincon. Lexington pitcher Oreiby LaCroix got the win. He's now 3-0. William Hatcher was tagged with the loss. The Legends, at 83-50, sit in third place in the Southern Division.

The Legends relied on shortstop Sam Gilpin for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"It was terrific getting this win," Rincon said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
