Power Tuck Away 7-3 Win Over Lakewood
The West Virginia Power defeated the Lakewood BlueClaws, 7-3, at First Energy Park. West Virginia right fielder Brendan Fry had a superb performance. He was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Michael Coman earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 3.2 innings. He upped his record to 11-2. The third-place Power now have a win-loss record of 73-60.

Baltesar Rebouas, who is tied for 2nd in the SAL in doubles with 34, aided the West Virginia cause with a run-scoring triple in the top of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman went 1-4 with a triple and a walk, while scoring 2.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Fry told the West Virginia Daily News.
