Avila hits 2 home runs to Fuel Legends Offense
The timely hitting of Rafael Avila helped the Lexington Legends down the Charleston RiverDogs, 5-1. Avila was 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Legends. Steve Walat got the win, improving to 10-6. He pitched 9 innings, giving up 6 hits and 1 run, while striking out 4 and walking 1. The last-place RiverDogs have dropped 5 straight games.

Lexington took a 5-1 lead on Avila's 8th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off C.J. Gray in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Lexington to the win.
