The Greensboro Grasshoppers powered past the West Virginia Power, 9-1, at NewBridge Bank Park. Jonathan Ludington went 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice, to lead the charge. The triumph makes Greensboro 44-89.

Andy Kops took West Virginia hurler Josh Mack deep in the bottom of the second. His 2-run home run put the Grasshoppers on top, 2-1. In all, Kops had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
