The home crowd had a good time watching the Hickory Crawdads and Greensboro Grasshoppers get after it.

The Greensboro Grasshoppers bested the Hickory Crawdads, 7-5, at NewBridge Bank Park. Willie Mulato was one of the standouts. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. At 60-74, Greensboro is in 5th place in the Northern Division.

Josh Robinson, who is tied for 3rd in the SAL with a .526 slugging percentage, took Hickory hurler Raul Guillen deep in the bottom of the fifth. His 2-run home run put the Grasshoppers on top, 5-3. In all, Robinson had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

Mulato told the Greensboro News: "I was born for the big stage."
