Lexington picked up a win at Whitaker Bank Ballpark, toppling the Rome Braves, 6-2. Pitcher Ken Adorno was one of the reasons the Legends triumphed. Lexington is now 84-50. Rome is 79-55.
Bobby Noriega, who is rated as the 56th best prospect by BNN, chipped in for Lexington with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 runs batted in.
