Burgos Propels Columbia to 6-0 Win
The Columbia Fireflies beat the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 6-0, at Spirit Communications Park. Starting pitcher Matt Burgos was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Columbia goes to 88-49, Greensboro to 19-118.

Greensboro had little success against Burgos and his cutter. Burgos tossed 97 pitches over 7 innings for the Fireflies.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Bill Taylor.
