Hagerstown and Greensboro got after it at Municipal Stadium.

The Hagerstown Suns picked up a win at Municipal Stadium, knocking off the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 6-2. Starting pitcher Mario Gonzalez was a big reason why. Gonzalez, now 5-6, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 3, and allowing 1 run.

Chris Johnson took Greensboro hurler Antonio Gonzalez deep in the bottom of the third. His 2-run home run put the Suns on top, 3-1. In all, Johnson had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"Mario works, he fights, and he keeps a good attitude," said Suns manager Mike Mathis.

With the win, Hagerstown pushed its record to 75-62.
