Grasshoppers Capture 6-3 Win at L.P. Frans Stadium
The Greensboro Grasshoppers dealt the Hickory Crawdads a 6-3 loss at L.P. Frans Stadium. Aiden Stevens, who is tied for 9th in the SAL in bases on balls with 50, was the star on offense. He went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win was credited to 22-year old left-handed pitcher Chad Harman in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Ben Longwell took the loss. The Grasshoppers raised their record to 37-101.

Had Stevens not come through in the top of the seventh, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Stevens hit a run-scoring single. The Grasshoppers took the lead, 4-3, and never looked back.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Stevens told the Greensboro Gazette.
