|
Hagerstown Suns starter Dustin Imel was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Delmarva Shorebirds, 7-0. The Suns, at 91-47, sit in second place in the Northern Division.
Imel imposed his will on the Shorebirds, scattering 2 hits over 8 innings while striking out 14. The left-hander upped his season record to 14-5.
Imel said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."
