Spikes Rally Late to Nip Scrappers
The State College Spikes got a stellar effort from pitcher Sam Stratton, helping State College score a win over the visiting Mahoning Valley Scrappers, 3-2, in 10 innings. The win has State College at 3-3.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for State College. That's when Elijah Brown hit a run-scoring double off 26-year old right-handed pitcher Josh Mashak to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"The game of baseball will test you," said Paul Thomas, the State College skipper. "This one tested us."
