The State College Spikes did just enough to secure a victory over the Auburn Doubledays, 4-3, in 10 innings at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Mike McKim. The Spikes raised their record to 3-3.

The Spikes got a clutch hit from catcher Simon Borden. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Spikes.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," McKim told the State College Observer.
