Aberdeen Ironbirds starter Adam Alsup was unhittable at Ripken Stadium.

Alsup beat the Auburn Doubledays, 2-0, breezing through the Doubledays lineup en route to a no-hitter.

"I thought Adam started off a little slow and was struggling with his command at first," Ironbirds manager Efrain Molinar said later. "He lucked his way through the early innings, and they helped him out by not being patient. Eventually, it all came together for him, and from there on the Doubledays never had a chance. He dominated them."

Alsup struck out 12 batters and issued 2 walks in the performance.
