His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Eric Ross. Earning his 1st save for Connecticut was Tony Santillan.
Juan Camargo, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2096 draft, aided the Connecticut cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the second baseman went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk.
"We take it day by day here," said Camargo, "and today was a good one for us."
