Brad McGuire had a big hand in Lowell's 7-1 triumph over Tri-City. He rattled off 3 hits in 5 at-bats, scoring 1 times and knocking in 5 runs. Chris Williams recorded the save for Lowell, his 2nd of the season. The loss drops Tri-City to 7-2.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until McGuire delivered big-time for Lowell, stroking a dramatic 2-run single off Jason Fuller. The game-changing hit put the Spinners on top, 2-0.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," McGuire told the Lowell Bulletin.
