O'Kelley Impressive in Mahoning Valley Win
The Mahoning Valley Scrappers and Williamsport Crosscutters played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.

J.P. O'Kelley was in top form in a tight contest between Mahoning Valley and Williamsport. The Scrappers right-hander helped his team beat the Crosscutters, 3-1. Mahoning Valley sits at 7-3.

O'Kelley was in the zone all game. He frustrated Williamsport hitters while giving the Scrappers 6.1 innings of quality work. O'Kelley threw 90 pitches, allowing 2 hits and getting 7 punchouts.

"J.P. gets on the mound and he competes and that's what you want," said Mahoning Valley manager Ramiro Tobar.
