Ramirez Leads Black Bears to Win
Rod Ramirez was a major factor in the 10-4 West Virginia win over Auburn. The Black Bears designated hitter went 4-4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. West Virginia pitcher Joey Abernathy earned the win, hiking his record to 2-0. Leo Mora suffered the loss. The win takes West Virginia to 7-3.
