Late Offense Lifts Batavia to 5-2 Victory
The Mahoning Valley Scrappers went down to defeat to Jorge Lopez and his Batavia teammates. The final score was 5-2, Muckdogs, in 10 innings. To call the performance of the 2-13 Scrappers woeful so far is an understatement.

Lance Underwood came through with a big-time hit for Batavia. The left fielder smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 5-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Sweet win for us, tough loss for them," said Underwood.
