The Brooklyn Cyclones beat the Lowell Spinners, 7-4, at MCU Park. Brooklyn second baseman Trey Barch had the hot bat. He went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The third-place Cyclones sport a record of 7-9.

Brooklyn got a big at-bat from Columbus, Ohio native Paul Bain, who in the bottom of the second hit a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Cyclones ahead, 3-0.
