Miller Propels Tigers to 8-3 Win
Connecticut first baseman Zack Miller contributed significantly to his team's 8-3 win over the Staten Island Yankees. Miller went 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Tigers. With the win, the Tigers have a record of 10-6.

Connecticut used a well-timed hit by Miguel Rubio to capture the win. The left fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Tigers ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
