The Tri-City ValleyCats bested the Brooklyn Cyclones, 5-3, at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. Matt Bliss was one of the standouts. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Luis Martinez went 7 innings for Tri-City to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs. He scattered 3 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5.
