No one was more impactful than Adam Van Leuven in the 12-5 Mahoning Valley win over State College. Van Leuven, who is tied for 10th in the NYP in doubles with 5, went 3-5 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 3 runs. The winning pitcher was Lindsay Nickerson. His record is now 2-2. The right-hander went 6.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 9 hits for the Scrappers.
