Black Batters Auburn Big Time
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Cody Black. Black went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Auburn pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Falcon Park, he had a 5-for-6 line and a day he will long remember. And the State College Spikes had a win, 13-6, over the Doubledays.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.

Cody Black singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Estevan Aguilera in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

This season, Black is batting .288 with 1 home run.
