The Connecticut Tigers buried the Vermont Lake Monsters, 20-2, under a barrage of hits. Don Pope led the onslaught, going 1-for-2 for Connecticut. The win went to Sam Townsend in relief, making him now 2-0. Kevin Henshall took the loss for Vermont. Connecticut is 12-8 and Vermont, with the loss, 11-9.
