Spinners Defeat Tigers, 6-3
The Lowell Spinners topped the Connecticut Tigers, 6-3, in New York-Penn League action at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Lowell pitcher Eddie Grajeda. Grajeda, now 2-0, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 1, and allowing no runs. Lowell is now 11-10, while Connecticut is 7-14.
