Connecticut Tigers starter Robby Crowell turned in a top-notch performance against the Lowell Spinners at Edward A. LeLacheur Park. The result was a win for the Tigers, 4-2. Connecticut raised its record to 12-9 with the win.

Connecticut won the game in part because of J.D. Dadswell. The left fielder ripped a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Tigers ahead, 4-2. For the game, Dadswell had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
