The Brooklyn Cyclones knocked off the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, 9-2, at Eastwood Field. Joe Dahl was a big reason Brooklyn won. The right fielder was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Brooklyn starter Danny Botelho was credited with the win after throwing 88 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 3-0. Getting the save was Yorfran Carnes, his 3rd.

In the top of the first, with the game still scoreless, Dahl hit a run-scoring single to put his team in the lead.
