Herrera Deals Tri-City 2-1 Setback
|
State College turned a good effort from starter David Herrera into a win over the Tri-City ValleyCats at Joseph L. Bruno Stadium. The final score was 2-1. Trent Berry earned the save for State College. State College is second in the Pinckney Division with a record of 13-9.
Herrera allowed 1 run on 4 hits over 7 innings for the Spikes. He walked 1 and struck out 12.
"David threw a phenomenal game," said State College manager Paul Thomas.
