Spikes Notch 3-2 Win Versus Doubledays
State College turned a good effort from starter Chase Louviere into a win over the Auburn Doubledays at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. The final score was 3-2. Alex Casillas earned save number 7 this season. State College is now 13-9, Auburn 15-7.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Spikes had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the second, when shortstop Mark Wofford hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Mike Carr and made the score 2-0, Spikes. Wofford went 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles.

"Chase is pitching with a lot of determination and a lot of fire," said State College manager Paul Thomas.
