The Lowell Spinners picked up a win, 7-4, over the Hudson Valley Renegades at Edward A. LeLacheur Park. Aaron Casey led the charge. The Shreveport, Louisiana native was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for Lowell. The Spinners now own a record of 15-8.

Ernie Damon had a big 2-run home run for the Spinners in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Lowell leading 5-4 and a runner on 3rd, he got a sinker from Ryan Green and swatted a home run to center. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Spinners ahead, 7-4.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Damon said after the game.
