The Erie SeaWolves outlasted Steve Slaughter and the Portland Sea Dogs, 8-6. Slaughter was impressive in the loss. The Portland center fielder was 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Alex Cofer was called on to finish, recording his 5th save. The win puts Erie at 11-8.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Juan de la Parra? The Erie first baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth inning to put the SeaWolves on top, 5-2. For the game, de la Parra had 1 double and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
