Dodge Lifts Renegades to 12-6 Triumph
|
Led by 22-year-old Jason Dodge, the Hudson Valley Renegades knocked off the Batavia Muckdogs, 12-6. Dodge was 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Renegades. With the win, Hudson Valley goes to 11-12, while the Muckdogs fall to 14-9.
With Hudson Valley leading 4-3 in the bottom of the fourth, Dodge hit a fastball from Dave Rodriguez for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Renegades ahead, 8-3.
Dodge told a Hudson Valley Daily News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
